Trisha Paytas is a social media star, singer, model, and actress. The woman who attempted to beat a world record launched her perfume scent and is known for her numerous crazy controversies. She has appeared on shows like My Strange Addiction as a tanning addict, and appeared in music videos made by artists like Any Winehouse and Eminem. There is so much that this star has done, good and bad. Through all this, she’s still been on and hosted numerous podcasts, some of which crashed and burned, and only one prevails today. Her first podcast, Frenemies, with Ethan Klein, was the first podcast she co-hosted. Officially posted on the H3 podcast YouTube channel, it ran from September 15th, 2020, to June 8th, 2021.
The podcast’s main appeal was Paytas’s and Klein’s friendship dynamic, as the title implies, and the constant feuds with other creators and between Paytas and Klein themselves. The show’s ending wasn’t a big surprise to the viewers. The constant disputes between the two often ended multiple episodes unfinished. It finally came to a close on only the 39th episode, “Talking About Gabbie Hannah.” At the very end, there is a confrontation between the two, with Klein telling Paytas that she could “leave any time,” and Paytas ends the show right there. Although the end of this podcast was very negative, fans of the show have commented on its hilarity, as Klein is dressed as Uncle Fester from the Addams Family, and two ordered pizza earlier in the episode. Behind the curtain, another issue between the two was ownership and production disputes, which also ended the show. Further, more conflicts arise and emerge when talking about behind the curtain. In multiple episodes, Paytas and Klein insulted the crew working on the show and talked about how unfair it is that the crew gets 5% of the show’s revenue. Both Klein and Trish have received backlash for their behavior, seeing that they are both insanely wealthy Paytas alone, earning an estimated 1.5 million dollars a year from Instagram. Another podcast she hosted around the same time was The Dish With Trish. It didn’t gain as much popularity as the Frenemies podcast and only had around 32 episodes before Paytas posted a video titled “This Podcast is Officially Canceled.” The podcast consisted of Paytas having multiple celebrity guests and deep-diving into her hot takes and internet drama. Though not as popular of controversy, there was a now-deleted episode where Paytas showed disturbing behaviors. She mocks, humiliates, and ‘exposes’ her husband, Moses Hacmon, and she also admits to domestic abuse. It’s still available on PodcastOne and was recorded July 7, 2020. After that, she launched Tingles & Triggers ASMR With Trisha Paytas, a relaxation podcast. The first episode, “Cheaters,” was released on September 25th, 2022. It maintained the same style as Paytas’s other podcasts, talking about drama and other issues, but it was in the form of an ASMR channel. The podcast ended with episode 24, “Worst Christmas Ever,” released on December 15, 2022. Paytas officially began Just Trish in July 2023 with Emmy-winning journalist Oscar Gracey. Paytas says the podcast is about “taking back the mic and truly telling it how she sees it, and an honest look into chronically online people.” The first episode she launched under the new name was “Trisha’s Viral NPC TikTok & Ariana Grande Drama.” She also regularly has celebrity hosts on the show, like Tana Mongeau and Modern Family star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons. All of this makes Just Trish one of the more well liked and known content that Paytas releases.
Just Trish didn’t launch from nothing. It started as a product of the Oversharing podcast that Paytas and YouTuber Colleen Ballinger hosted. From those who watched the podcast, fans commented that Paytas looks uncomfortable with Ballinger dominating most of the conversation. It also wasn’t well-liked, as many have commented on how Ballinger and Paytas have no chemistry and how awful and unstructured the whole thing was. Once “Oversharing” crumbled, the podcast we now know as Just Trish rose from it. Still on the channel, you can find old videos of The Dish with Trish and Tingles & Triggers if you scroll down enough. Just Trish is still ongoing and much more popular than any other podcast she’s hosted; she’s just passing Frenemies in views. It’s not personal; it’s Just Trish.
