This upcoming film is about two young British soldiers during World War I who are given a seemingly impossible mission to deliver a message: a warning of an ambush during one of the skirmishes soon-after the German retreat back to the Hindenburg Line. Directed by Sam Mendes and co-written by Mendes and Krysty Wilson-Cairns, it follows these two soldiers as they race against time, heartbreak, and death, making your heart, both race and ache. The amazing cast includes George MacKay, Dean-Charles Chapman, and so many more wonderful actors and actresses. The movie will be distributed by Universal Pictures and is said to be released on December 25, 2019. The movie will be 110 minutes long but as they say in the movie, time is the enemy, so use yours to watch this film!
Jumanji: The Next Level
Loved the 2017 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle movie? Well you’re in luck because the sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level, will soon be coming into theaters! The movie begins with Spencer repairing the Jumanji video game and system. When all his friends show up at his house, and to their dismay, Spencer is gone and the game is running. Once again they are sucked into the game with hopes of finding and rescuing Spencer. On an adventure full of new obstacles and characters, this group of friends has to find their way home, once and for all. This film is directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Kasdan, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg and is distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. Jumanji: The Next Level will be released on December 13, 2019, so mark your calendars and be sure to see if they will find Spencer before it’s too late!
Little Women
This will be the 9th adaption of Little Women and surely the best! This film takes place in 1860s New England, post-American Civil War. It is said to focus more on themes rather than the story’s narrative, with more emphasis on the sister’s adult lives. The star studded cast includes Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, to name a few! Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, Little Women is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2019, and will be distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.
