When we think of powerful figures, we think of presidents, monarchs, or dictators. But there is someone else that could be considered at the same level in terms of power: multi-billionaire tech tycoon Elon Musk.
Diving into the mind of Elon Musk, we see a natural born leader. A huge societal figure wanting to play hero, with the goal to save the world before it ruins itself. To set our world up for a successful future in the palms of Elon Musk’s gifted hands.
“Ever since he was a scrawny and socially awkward kid getting beaten up on his school playground in South Africa, Elon Musk has liked to imagine himself as a hero rushing to the rescue,” says the Washington Post.
Patterns in history establish that such kinds of brilliant leaders have held a certain amount of power, through which they benefited the general public. Elon Musk has done just that. From that be the creation of Tesla, a fuel saving and carbon electric car company, to the launch of Space X, an exploration for a way of life to suffice beyond our planet, to even his satellite, Starlink. Musk has demonstrated that he is capability of using his powerful influence to benefit society. Musk has sent thousands of backpack-sized satellite stations to the war torn country of Ukraine to keep the nation online and in contact with the US in the midst of its invasion by Russia. The satellites are so complex and strong that Russian hackers are unable to shut them down. They are all controlled by one powerful man and his many engineers: Elon Musk.
Musk also has also demonstrated his power through social media influences. Musk bought the Twitter application in October 2022 and recently changed its name to simply “X.”
Elon Musk’s influences on society are seen in our everyday lives and his power is tremendously overwhelming. Although Musk’s work is not entirely selfless, as he has made himself into the wealthiest person on the planet, it should be noted that his power has allowed him to positively impact the world.
Elon Musk uses heaps of money for good
