Service Spotlight: Clare Camblin

“Everyone has a story. Small changes can make a huge impact,” said Clare Camblin, senior.

Camblin lives these words through her many service projects in which she connects with the local community. Clare regularly helps the Public Access to Deliver Service (PADS) program and has become a regular at both the 6AM shift through Campus Ministry and the 3AM shift through her parish. Yet PADS is not the only organization Clare sacrifices sleep for; her favorite project, also in the early morning, is volunteering at her local food pantry.

“Every Saturday, very early in the morning, I walk up the street and get to work,” said Camblin. “Community is so important, and when I get involved in these projects, I’m automatically subjected to being part of the community. Volunteering allows me to meet and learn from a range of new people and create memorable experiences with them that will last a lifetime.”
