Marvel’s Agents of Shield

Director Phil Coulson and his team are back in action. Marvel’s Agents of Shield, has finally returned for a new and exciting season. It returned to ABC on Sept. 20. This is the season all Marvel’s Agents of Shield fans were waiting for. This show has everything an action/si-fi TV fan looks for. The Agents of Shield team, Phil Coulson, (Clark Gregg), Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Malinda May, (Ming-Na Wen), Coulson’s right hand, Daisy ‘Skye’ Johnson, (Chloe Bennet), a hacker who becomes a well-trained agent and the first Inhuman the team encounters, Leo Fitz, (Iain De Caestecker), tech genies, Jemma Simmons, (Elizabeth Henstridge), biochemist, and Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie, (Henry Simmons), the mechanic, made this the an exciting show. Due to the amazing special effects and storyline, Agents of Shield is now the most anticipated show on ABC.
Season 3 ended with the sacrifice of Lincoln Campbell, (Luke Mitchell), an Inhuman with electrical power and Daisy’s boyfriend, and the death of their greatest enemy, Grant Ward/Hive, (played by the amazing Brett Dalton), a Hydra spy who becomes an Inhuman with parasite abilities. Lincoln’s death was a huge shock to me, I was so sure that they were going to carry him out through the rest of the series. In the last ten minutes of the Season 3 finale, Daisy Johnson goes rogue and changes her name to ‘Quake’, due to the death of Lincoln. I guess Lincoln had to die in order for Quake to form. We also find out that Coulson is no longer the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, which is a shame because he made a great director. In the post-credits scene, Doctor Holden Radcliffe, (John Hannah), a brilliant scientist, creates an android named Aida.
The new season brings back actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley, (as Elena ‘Yo-Yo’ Rodriguez), an Inhuman with super-speed, personally, I don’t really like her all that much, mostly because she only thinks about sex. They also introduces new cast members, Gabriel Luna (as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider),a man who made a deal with the devil to kill the people who deserves to die,he transforms and uses his firepower to destroy the people who commits a sin, Mallory Jansen, (as Aida), the android Radcliffe created, I have a bad feeling she might turn against the team, Jason O’Mara, (as Director Jeffrey Mace), the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D, I’m not so crazy about the new director, he’s a little too corny. On the other hand, I like how protective Ghost Rider’s little brother, Gabe Reyes, (Lorenzo James Henrie), he does not know his brother is Ghost Rider.
Season 4 begins with the introduction of Ghost Rider and Daisy. Coulson finds himself back as Agent instead of Director, Coulson and Mack team up to continue their search for Daisy and other enhanced people (Inhuman’s). May has been reassigned to being a trainer for S.H.I.E.L.D recruits. Fitz works with Radcliffe on how to make Aida perfect. Simmons is reassigned as the director’s adviser of the science and technology department. I’m glad they’re changing up the show, instead of continuing with the same storyline. My predictions are: Daisy will return to S.H.I.E.L.D, Ghost Rider will join the team, Director Jeffrey Mace will be killed off, causing Coulson to take his place back as director, Fitz and Simmons will finally get married, Aida will fight against the team, and Bobbi and Hunter, agents who leave the team to start a new romantic life together, (played by Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood), will return to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Each episode continues bringing new excitements and surprises, as always, you won’t want to wait until next Tuesday.
